Keep up to date with our ambitious plans for our very own Scout building!
We are looking to undertake a Community Asset Transfer of the site of the former Westbank Home in Oldmeldrum. Our Scout Group would make use of the site by constructing a purpose-built Scout Centre where young people can continue to develop skills for life. Facilities will include a large main hall for activities, meeting room, kitchen, leader’s area, toilets and equipment stores as well as lots of outdoor space for games and activities.
June 2025:
We have had preliminary discussions with Aberdeenshire Council and have submitted an Expression of Interest document to the Council and await their feedback prior to progressing to a full Community Asset Transfer application. During this period we require to undertake consultations with our current members, local residents and other community groups.
